So you know you need fuel polishing, but what next?
Blocked filters? Signs of corrosion? Poor efficiency? Fuel test shown problems?
Maybe you’ve noticed reduced power or higher emissions?
You know you need fuel polishing, but how do you know which system?
At WASP we can help you decide what’s best for your specific needs and circumstances.
There are several key considerations:
How will it be mounted? On a wall in a plant room, on a frame/skid, in a bespoke enclosure, or perhaps a portable unit on a trolley?
What type of power supply do you have available? We have a number of options both AC and DC.
How big is your fuel tank and how fast do you need to clean your fuel? These are all key factors in selecting your unit.
Lets first look at ‘permanent’ or ‘fixed’ installations…
If you have a single tank or multiple tanks in one location, then a static or permanent installation is ideal.
Dependent on the size of unit required, there are various options available:
– Wall mounted
– Stainless Steel Frame Mounted
– Stainless steel enclosure
– Powder coated enclosure
Enclosures are IP54 rated and can be ventilated, heated and have leak detection systems installed, as necessary for the application.
With an Auto Multi Tank Changeover option, one Fuel Polishing System can service several tanks.
Other options include:
– WASPNet cloud monitoring
– Drip tray
– Absolute Polishing (1 or 0.5 micron)
– Priming units (W-PFS units only)
– BMS, Modbus, Fieldbus and other communication options
– Automatic water drain
– Particulate counter
– Automatic biocide dosing
How about going mobile?
It can be a more affordable and practical solution….
Convenience: Ideally suited to multiple, remote fuel storage tank installations, a mobile system can be brought to your tank location, eliminating the need to transport fuel to and from a cleaning facility, saving both time and money.
Flexibility: They can be used to clean fuel in a variety of settings, such as construction sites, farms, transportation hubs, and power plants to name a few. This makes them ideal for businesses with a variety of fuel storage needs.
Cost-effectiveness: Mobile fuel polishing is a very cost-effective way to clean fuel. It’s often cheaper than replacing contaminated fuel or repairing equipment damaged by contaminated fuel. If you operate multiple sites or sites with multiple remote fuel storage tanks, owning a mobile unit could be the answer!
