To ensure your WASP PFS system continues to efficiently clean fuel, you will occasionally need to service the unit; such as replace elements, seals and drain water. Your intelligent fuel cleaning system will inform you when the filters are full and water needs draining.

We recommend elements on systems are changed at least every 12 months (more often if there is a warning that the filter is full). Seals should be checked every six months and replaced at least every 36 months.

Great! it means your WASP system is serving it's purpose.
If one or both filters are full, the system is full of contaminates it has filtered from the fuel. Remember some contaminates are so small they can not be seen by the human eye but are big enough to cause issues with the engines it is trying to power.
We recommend elements on systems are changed at least every 12 months (more often if there is a warning that the filter is full). Seals should be checked every six months and replaced at least every 36 months.
Yes, we can provide an engineer to service your system, which would include:
- replacement of filter elements
- replacement of seals (if required)
- draining removed water from filters
- back flushing
- bleeding air from system
- priming
- laboratory fuel testing (if required)
- a post service report
- advisories of how to improve the set up or efficiency of the system ie running schedules, addition of add-ons such as a drip tray, non-return valves, different micron elements etc.
Instructions on changing elements and seals are in the original instruction manual you would have received with the unit. If you order Complete or Element service packs, you will receive a service instruction booklet with detailed instructions on changing spares and the service tasks.
You are not alone. Time goes by and it is easy to lose track of how long ago the system was serviced.
We have recognised this issue and created a service sticker (like something your boiler service engineer would stick on the side of your boiler).
The stickers are included in the Complete and Element Service Packs. Simply complete the label with your details and the date and stick to your WASP PFS System. This acts as a reminder to service the WASP unit frequently to achieve the best results from your fuel cleaning system.
